Oats are grown throughout Europe. It is a nutritious and energy cereal, rich in proteins, recommended for those anemic or convalescing. It contains a lot of magnesium, known as anti-depressant. It is also diuretic through its fibers. It is a cereal that stimulate the thyroid. - Reduces cholesterol - Reduces blood pressure - Reduces the risk in the long term heart disease Oatmeal is the most complete of oats, which can be grind for maximum benefits. Even oatmeal is also used in animal feed. It makes the "oat milk" and even cream. Its sweet taste is very pleasant and texture lends itself advantageously in the kitchen in place of fresh cream, for those who avoid dairy products or watching their cholesterol. The flakes obtained by rolling the seeds have lost some of their vitamins, but protein and magnesium remain. They are toasted, which gives them a particularly nice taste. Oat bran is probably one of the most food rich in fiber, with its ability to absorb 22 times its liquid volume. It helps blood sugar by slowing the metabolism of sugars.
